Inaugurated in 1917 during the First World War, the Imperial War Museum reopened in 2014 following the completion of an important project by Foster+Partners to extend and modernise the museum. The high-performance cementitious flooring, Ultratop System, chosen to complete the exhibition spaces and to create stable, durable flooring ideal for areas with an intense level of footfall, was applied to great success over an area of a good 5,000 m2.
